About AIA Shanghai Design Excellence Awards 2019
AIA Shanghai is pleased to announce the second run of our annual awards program. The program celebrates new architecture in China. As an international design awards program, we welcome entries from all AIA members and non-members practicing in China.
The 2019 AIA Shanghai Design Excellence Awards Program celebrates regional diversity within innovative architecture, interiors and planning projects shaped by architects living, breathing, and working in China regardless of scale, budget, style, or type. The winning Awards will be judged by an international jury comprised of leading figures from around the world, including a unique mixture of mainland and international architects, critics, academics, and theorists.
AIA上海很荣幸举办第二届年度颁奖计划。此颁奖计划是为了庆祝在中国的新建筑物设计。作为国际设计卓越颁奖计划，我们欢迎在中国做项目的AIA会员与非会员的申请。
2019 AIA上海卓越设计颁奖典礼是为了庆祝地区性的创新建筑、室内设计与规划项目。这些项目来自住在或工作于中国的建筑师，藉由习得的中国经验，不受限规模、资金、风格或类别，所设计的项目。奖项会是由世界一流人物所组成的国际评审团，包括中国与国际建筑师、评论家、学者，以及理论家。

The Architecture program celebrates the best contemporary architecture regardless of budget, size, style, or type.
建筑计划是庆祝最优秀的当代建筑， 不受限于规模、资金、风格或类别。
Criteria / 申请标准
- Projects must be located in Mainland China. 申请项目位于中国大陆。
- Any licensed architects may enter. U.S. license is not required. 有执照的建筑师均可申请，不需是美国执照。
- New construction, renovations, and restorations are eligible. 新建设、翻修项目与修复项目均可申请。
- The project may be single- or multi-building projects. For multi-building projects, evidence must be provided for authorship of the portion in submission. 可以是单一项目或多建筑项目。 针对多建筑项目申请者需在申请时提供建筑授权的证明。
- Projects must be completed within last five years or substantially complete by submission deadline. Projects under construction should wait till substantial completion to be eligible. 申请项目需是近五年完成，或在申请时大体上完工的项目。正在施工的项目应等到大体完工后在提申请。
Interior Architecture
室内建筑
Recognizes design excellence in building interiors and related architectural work, as well as new and improved approaches to building components and architectural products.
对于建筑室内设计与相关的建筑设计卓越，以及建筑组件与建筑产品的新的和进步的做法上的肯定。
Criteria / 申请标准
- Projects must be located in Mainland China. 申请项目位于中国大陆。
- Decoration and furniture projects are not eligible. 不受理装饰与家具项目。
- Projects must be completed within last five years or substantially complete by submission deadline. 申请项目需是近五年完成，或在申请时大体上完工的项目。
Urban Design
城市设计
The Urban Design program recognizes the most compelling work and ideas, both built and unbuilt, in urban design, regional and city planning, and neighborhood development, campus planning, environmental program, or civic improvements.
城市设计计划肯定最引人入胜的项目和点子，可以是建盖好的或尚未建盖的项目，范围包括：城市设计
、区域或城市规划、社区发展、校园规划、环境规划或市政改善。
Criteria
- Projects must be located in Mainland China. 申请项目位于中国大陆。
- Individual buildings are not eligible. 不受理单一建筑。
- The project, whether built or unbuilt, must be completed within last five years by submission deadline. 项目需在申请截止日期的近五年完成，不论是完工的或未建造的。
Unbuilt
未建造的
The Unbuilt program celebrates design excellence in unrealized, or theoretical projects. This category recognizes the architect’s in completed meaningful work, but due to any reasons, the project will not be built.
未建造计划是为了肯定未完成的或理论性的卓越设计项目。此类别是为了肯定完成有意义项目的建筑师，
但项目由于不同原因，无法建盖。
Criteria / 申请标准
- Projects must be located in Mainland China.申请项目位于中国大陆。
- Eligible entries must be confirmed it will not be realized。项目的申请资格需做不会被实践的确认。
- Projects in competitions or bidding stage at time of the submission deadline are not eligible. 不受理在申请截止日期正在参与竞赛的项目或在竞标阶段的项目。
- Projects that are being built but construction on hold are not eligible。 不受理被停滞施工的建盖项目。
10-Year Award
十周年标杆奖
The 10-Year Award recognizes a building that has set a precedent for the last ten years and continues to set standards of excellence for its architectural design and significance.
十周年标杆奖是为了肯定在过去十年立下先例的建筑，并且以其建筑设计与重要性持续设立卓越标准。
Criteria / 申请标准
- Project must have been completed before 2009 and located in Mainland China.项目需在2009年前完成，位于中国大陆。
- Project must have been designed by a licensed architect at the time of the project’s completion. 项目需由有执照建筑师设计，完成。
- Project must be in good condition, and not fundamentally altered from its original intent. 项目需是状况好的，基础忠于原意。
- Project must demonstrate excellence in function, both in its original form and by today’s standards. 项目需在原始样貌与今日的标准上展示功能的卓越。
Eligibility / 申请资格
1. The award program is open to both AIA members and non-members. AIA members, regardless of membership
types or chapter, must be in good standing to be eligible for member rate. 十周年标杆奖是开放给美国建筑协会协会的会员与非会员申请。AIA会员，无论会员类型或所属哪个分会，需有好的名声才有会员评分资格。
2. Projects must be located in Mainland China. 项目需位于中国大陆。
3. Submitting architects do not have to be the head of the team. However, authors of the projects must be acknowledged in submission. 申请建筑师不需要是团队组长。
4. The submitting architect or designers must be either the primary author or a major contributor to the project. When one Architect is not the sole author of the design, all other participants contributing substantially to the design must be given credit as part of the submission.
提交项目的建筑师或设计师必须是主要设计负责人或重大贡献者。当设计为多个建筑师共同负责时，其他有贡献的建筑师也许在提交项目上提及。
5. Projects design by joint venture or associated architects should be submitted by one member only; credit for all participants is to be noted in the entry form under Collaborative Acknowledgements.
如是合资企业或联合建筑师共同设计的项目，应由其中一名建筑师提交；其他建筑师会在登陆表格的合作名单提及。
6. Except for 10-year award, built and unbuilt works must have been completed since January 1, 2014.
除了10年标杆奖外，建盖好的与未建盖的项目需在2014年1月1日完成。
7. Projects can be submitted to more than one category. Entries must demonstrate it meets the requirement of respective category.
项目可以提交到多类别。登陆信息需有证明项目符合类别的信息。
8. Projects previously honored with an award from AIA Shanghai or another AIA Chapter Award are not eligible for submission.
有获得AIA上海奖项获其他AIA分会奖项的项目不能做提交。
9. Work by architects or design firms serving as jurors for current year (2019) awards are ineligible.
由当陪审员的建筑事务所或设计工作室的项目，不能申请2019年的奖项提名。
10. Projects will be disqualified if identity of the submitting parties are revealed.
如果提交者的身份曝光，项目会立即被取消资格。
11. Affiliated professionals in other disciplines interested to submit should contact the architects or designers they collaborated with on the project.
项目相关的其他专业的专业人士，如有兴趣当项目提交者应当联络项目合作的建筑师或设计师。
12. AIA Shanghai reserves the right to determine the eligibility of all submissions.
美国建筑师协会上海分会保有界定提交项目的申请资格。
Deadline / 截止日期
The deadline for submissions is October 1st, midnight China Standard Time. The deadline will be strictly observed. Winners will be announced at AIA Shanghai award ceremony in early December. Results will not be disclosed to any participants in advance.
项目提交截止日期为2019年9月21日，北京标准时间。我们会严格遵循截止日期与时间。获奖者会在十二月初的AIA上海颁奖典礼上
公布。评选结果不会提早揭露。

Sign Up / 注册
Click "My Account" and enter your information to register as an applicant
点击 “我的帐号”并且以申请人登记、输入您的信息。
Submit Entry 提交项目
Click "Submit Entry", then "Click Here to Begin a New Submission".
点击“提交登陆”，然后“点选一个新的提交“。
Registration Info 报名信息
Enter registration info about your company and AIA membership, if applicable. This must be completed before submitting project information / file uploads. Be sure select the submission category. If you will be submitting multiple entries, you will repeat this step for each entry. When you are done with each submission registration, click "Add to Cart".
输入贵公司与AIA会员的信息以做登记，如果适用。这个步骤需要在申请项目信息/电子档上传前，完成。谨慎点选提交类别。如果你申请了多重登陆，在每个登陆会需重复此步骤。

Payment is required before submitting project files. You may pay by Wechat / Alipay, Unionpay, or by International Credit Card.

If you pay by WeChat / AliPay / UnionPay, your payment will be confirmed by us later, thus it may show as "Unpaid" in the awards system. You will still be able to submit project, even if this is marked as unpaid. If you submit a project but we do not receive your payment, we will contact you.

Submit Entry 提交项目
After you have finished payment, you will be directed to complete the forms for submission of each entry. This includes project descriptions, information about materials, architect, completion date, etc. Each one will be submitted separately.
当您完成支付，网页会跳转到项目提交的登陆页面。这包括项目叙述、材料信息、建筑师、完成日期，等。项目需单独提交。
